It’s not really a story so much as a lengthy and in-depth description of an estate, the people who live there, people of the village and planning a summer party. I LOVE Mary Balogh’s books and think I have read most of them so was surprised and disappointed in this latest book. But is Devlin's war-hardened heart even capable of offering her love in return?
